HP has a new mobile workstation on the way, the ZBook Studio G9. Powered by up to an Intel Core i9 vPro CPU and either NVIDIA RTX A5500 or GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics, the laptop should be able to handle demanding workloads from creators and professionals.
The ZBook Studio G9 has a taller 16:10 DreamColor display with a 120Hz refresh rate. That aspect ratio is a bit of a trend with HP and other laptop makers since it provides more screen real estate without adding much size to a device.
Versions of the ZBook Studio G9 with RTX graphics are validated by the NVIDIA Studio program, which means they’ve been optimized for digital creators. The laptops also support NVIDIA Studio software, including Omniverse, Broadcast, and Canvas.
As you’d expect from a new mobile workstation, the ZBook Studio G9 features high-end specs across the board. It will be available with up to 64GB of RAM, up to 4TB of internal PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage, and runs on powerful internals. Based on the specs of the device, the ZBook Studio G9 should be among the best HP laptops.
HP announced a pair of new monitors today as well, the Z24m and Z24q. Creators and professionals can get the most out of the ZBook Studio G9 by connecting it to those or other monitors through the newly announced HP Thunderbolt G4 dock, which has 11 ports and security features.
