We’re expecting to see lots of Prime Day deals soon and that includes some no doubt impressive Prime Day iPhone sales. Read on as we take a look at what iPhone deals to expect from the sales event, and whether Prime Day is a good time to buy a new iPhone.
What Prime Day iPhone deals to expect
Prime Day is always a good time to buy new technology, with Amazon generally pretty keen on reducing the prices of big-name technology brands. When it comes to Prime Day iPhone sales, it’s likely that every iPhone will be reduced in some way.
That means we’ll see discounts on the popular more inexpensive iPhone SE as well as some price cuts for the iPhone 12 as well. It’s possible we’ll see these Prime Day iPhone deals covering the iPhone 12 Pro right down to the iPhone 12 Mini, with Prime Day iPhone sales likely to be seen on the iPhone 11 range too if you don’t mind buying a little older than before.
What Prime Day iPhone deals we saw last year
Last year, we saw Prime Day iPhone sales on all the iPhone models you’d expect. That meant discounts on the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, XS Max, SE, 8, and much more. Consumers could save up to $330 if they went for the iPhone 11 Pro with over $400 off the older iPhone XS. There was also over $100 off the iPhone 8 Plus if you didn’t mind going even older.
Other discounts were also available if you were fine to purchase a refurbished iPhone model too.
Should you buy an iPhone on Prime Day?
Prime Day is generally a pretty good time to dive into the sales. It’s often on a par with Black Friday with not a lot to distinguish the two when it comes to technology sales. Even better, you get the item now rather than needing to wait until later in the year.
As always, it’s a smart move to know what your budget is before you dive right in as iPhones are available at a variety of different price points.
It’s also a good idea to check out our look at the best iPhone to buy as there are plenty of different options out there these days and each has its own set of pros and cons. Don’t be tempted by something that isn’t a good fit for you simply because it’s heavily discounted during the Prime Day iPhone sales.
