Black Friday: Call of Duty: Vanguard for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S drops to just $40

Call of Duty Vanguard isn’t the best Call of Duty game, in fact, it might be among the worst, but hey, it’s still Call of Duty, and at least to some degree retains that frenetic Call of Duty feel that has made the series something of a legend. If you were holding off on buying the game after the relatively tepid reviews, you may be delighted to hear that it’s enjoying a pretty large sale right now for Black Friday over at Walmart.

Call Of Duty Vanguard Cross Gen Bundle Reco Box

$30 off:
Call of Duty Vanguard (Xbox One/Xbox Series X and S)

Call of Duty Vanguard’s cross-gen bundle is enjoying a decent offer for Black Friday over at Walmart. With this version, you get both the past-gen Xbox One version and the current-gen Xbox Series X and Series S version in one package.

$39 (was $70) at Walmart

Call of Duty Vanguard is a bit of an oddity. Set in an “alternate” World War II history where technologies like laser dot sights and night vision are somehow commonplace, a group of time travelers goes back to the 1940s to ensure the war plays out in the Allies’ favor.

Call of Duty Vanguard includes features like Call of Duty Zombies, alongside WWII-themed Warzone features. It also contains an array of classic World at War maps from past Call of Duty games as well. While the gameplay hasn’t aged well in recent Call of Duty games, at $40 it’s a pretty great price especially if you’re hunting for gifts for a friend or family member this holiday season.

As a cross-gen version of the game, this nets you access to the Xbox One version, as well as the new Xbox Series X|S version, which comes with all the shiny enhancements like 120 FPS frame rates and 4K resolution.
